By bringing Traditional Chinese and Functional Medicine to your modern life, we bridge the gap between Eastern & Western medicine to restore total health.
Your skin changes with age, stress, hormones, sun exposure and the natural decline of collagen and elastin. At Jang Acupuncture, we take a whole-person approach to facial rejuvenation designed to help your skin look smoother, firmer, brighter and healthier — without trying to make you look like someone else.
Our Facial Rejuvenation treatments may incorporate cosmetic facial acupuncture, microneedling, LED light therapy, gua sha and jade rolling, depending on your skin, goals and overall health.
You don’t need to know which treatment to choose before you arrive.
Tell us what you’d like to improve. We’ll help determine the right approach for you.

Healthy-looking skin is part of whole-body health.
$349 per session — save $500
A series allows us to build results progressively. Each treatment is personalized to your skin and goals and may include facial acupuncture, microneedling, LED light therapy, gua sha, and other complementary techniques.
How many sessions will I need?
A simple rule of thumb is one session for every decade of age. If you’re 40, we typically recommend four treatments. Your individual plan may vary based on your skin and goals.

Think of Facial Rejuvenation as the overall treatment strategy.
Facial acupuncture and microneedling are two different tools we can use within that strategy.
Depending on your goals, your treatment plan may include one or more of the following:
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
Fine acupuncture needles are placed at carefully selected points on the face and body. Facial acupuncture is intended to support circulation, facial muscle tone and the body’s natural restorative processes.
Microneedling / Collagen Induction Therapy
A microneedling device creates controlled microchannels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural wound-healing response and stimulating collagen and elastin production.
LED Light Therapy
LED may be incorporated to complement your facial treatment and support the skin’s recovery and overall appearance.
Gua Sha & Jade Rolling
Traditional techniques may be used to encourage circulation, reduce the appearance of puffiness and complement your treatment.
Rather than asking, “Which treatment should I get?”, we want to start with:
“What would you like to change about your skin?”
Facial acupuncture uses very fine acupuncture needles on the face along with acupuncture points selected elsewhere on the body.
It may be a good fit if you’re primarily interested in:
A natural approach to facial rejuvenation
Supporting facial tone and elasticity
Improving the overall appearance and vitality of the skin
Addressing facial concerns while also receiving the broader benefits of an acupuncture treatment
Minimal downtime
Because this is acupuncture, treatment can extend beyond the skin itself. Your practitioner can consider sleep, stress, digestion, hormonal changes and other factors that may be affecting how you feel and how your skin looks.
Microneedling — also called collagen induction therapy — creates tiny controlled microchannels in the skin.
Those microchannels activate the body’s wound-healing response and stimulate production of collagen and elastin.
Microneedling may be particularly helpful when your goals include improving the appearance of:
Fine lines
Acne scars
Skin laxity
Enlarged pores
Crow’s feet
Fine lines around the lips
Uneven texture
Dark spots or melasma
Other visible signs of aging
Unlike facial acupuncture, microneedling usually comes with some temporary redness after treatment.
Facial Rejuvenation isn’t one single procedure.
It’s our approach to determining which combination of treatments makes the most sense for your skin, your age, your concerns and your goals.
You may benefit most from facial acupuncture. You may be a stronger candidate for microneedling.Or we may recommend incorporating both as part of a broader rejuvenation plan.
You don’t have to figure that out yourself. That’s our job!
There are plenty of places to get a facial or microneedling treatment. Jang Acupuncture is different.
Dr. Andrea Jang’s approach brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine, modern acupuncture, microneedling and Functional Medicine.
Dr. Jang studied Neuroscience at UC Berkeley before completing a four-year Traditional Chinese Medicine program and later earning her doctorate. Her practice is built around bridging Eastern and Western approaches to health.
That means your treatment isn’t simply about performing the same procedure on every face.
We consider your skin, your goals and the larger changes happening in your body.
This can be particularly valuable for women experiencing changes in their 40s, 50s and beyond, when declining collagen and hormonal changes can show up as:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Changes in skin firmness and elasticity
Uneven tone or texture
Dry or dull-looking skin
Enlarged pores
Pigmentation and dark spots
Acne scarring
Changes to the jawline and facial appearance
Our philosophy is simple:
Healthy-looking skin is part of whole-body health.
